Meets the requirements for the Architecture Merit Badge for Boy Scouts

Boy Scouts working on the Architecture Merit Badge can explore the 19th century built environment at Macculloch Hall and the surrounding historic neighborhood. Activities include a walking tour and building challenges. Limited to 20 participants. $10 per Scout; $5 per adult.

Meets requirements for the Citizenship in the Nation Merit Badge

What makes a good citizen? Scouts discuss this, review the functions of the federal government, and examine early American documents in the home of former U.S. Senator Jacob Miller (1800-1862). Activities include a focus on the life and work of political cartoonist Thomas Nast (1840-1902), whose home is on the National Register of Historic Places. Pre-registration required. $15 per scout; $5 per adult.
